About Me

I have been exhibiting my art for over 25 years. After completing a Master of Creative Arts at the University of Wollongong in 2004, I have been developing my practice full time. During my career I have been exhibited by a range of galleries including Gallery 41, Camden Fine Art Gallery, Parklife Gallery and Cafe and Beach Art Bulli.

My work has been shown and awarded in many group exhibitions including Flow Watercolour Prize Finalist 2021, Fishers Ghost finalist Open and Contemporary 2021, Comission for Dreamtime Australia Design, Lore, IAVA group exhibition at Wollongong Art Gallery June 2021, Wingercarabee Landscape Prize 2021, Blacktown Art Prize 2021, Sydney Royal 1st place Miniatures 2019, Medal of excellence 2019, Fisher’s Ghost finalist open section 2020, OOTI Parliament House Sydney 2019, Wingercarabee Prize finalist 2019, Flow Wollongong Art Gallery 2019 (National Finalist), The Paddington Art Prize 2010 (National finalist), The Sydney Royal, Art Equity Sydney, Hazelhurst Regional Gallery Gymea, Broken Hill City Gallery, Southern Cross University SA, The Powerhouse Liverpool, ArtinPort Port Kembla, Meroogal Women’s Art Prize, Fisher’s Ghost prize Campbelltown, Australian Society of Miniature Art, University of Wollongong and The Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival, where I also have coordinated the miniatures exhibition.

I have been commissioned to create paintings for private and public art spaces including The Panels Project for the exterior of Wollongong Regional Gallery (7 panels), The University of Wollongong, Phamacare at Warriwood, Ripe Interiors Surry Hills, Surfers Chalet Apartments and Lake Illawarra High School.

I have designed and made sets for plays such as “Kabbarli” and “Political Fiction” and many school productions at Port Hacking High, Miranda. I am an exhibiting member of IAVA. Recently I coordinated and participated in a mural project for Caritas Australia’s headquarters in Alexandria. I have had various solo exhibitions including “Ancient Landscapes” at The Hanging Space Gallery in Woonona in January 2014 “Joy and Whispers” at Beach Art Bulli in September 2014 and many at Camden Fine Art Gallery. Recently I have shown work at 55 Parrots Bulli and been a finalist in the Blacktown Art Prize.

My practice has evolved from a Diploma of Art Education, Alexander Mackie CAE and twenty five years experience teaching art and design. Currently I have taught private workshops and students based on abstraction and am also involved in the community arts groups IAVA, and Project Contemporary Artspace.

I continue to develop my mixed media, abstracted works, and exhibit in shows regularly.
